Update on My Husband's Heart Journey

This is going to be a really short post.  I kind of stopped losing interest in blogging for a few years, so unfortunately, no updates.

However, this was also an indicator of good news, in that there was no need to report any bad news on my husband's condition.

Today I was cleaning up my Google account and noticed I had not updated on this blog for two years.  So, here it is.

Currently, my husband still weighs 215 pounds, that's down from 275, and he has maintained this weight since 214.  His heart disease, as shown by a angiography has cleared up, and his latest cholesterol total is 107.

He is still on a strict plant-based diet, and "medication free".  I say this in quotes because he is taking natural supplements to keep his cholesterol low.

He takes berberine, red yeast rice, magnesium, vitamin D3, and Coq10.

To determine the best dosages and brands of these, we bought a subscription to ConsumerLab, and read all of the articles and looked at the lab text results of the supplements they tested and ordered the supplements suggested on Amazon.

He is vibrant, healthy, and can still run up and down the basketball court giving his boys a run for their money.
